Announcements
• Report cards will be coming home on Monday with your child. Please look over the report card, sign the envelope, and return the envelope to school on Tuesday.
• On Friday the whole school has earned a pajama day and non-tech game day. Students can wear pajamas and slippers to school (they will still be going out for recess). They can also bring a board game to play with friends in the afternoon.
Language Arts
• The skills we will be learning about include inferring, point of view, and poetry.
• This week we are finishing our personal narrative about a celebration.
• Our spelling words use or, oar, and ore. They are: fork, born, horn, sports, oars, roar, more, store, before, wore.
• Please send back your child's reading log on Monday
Math
• This week we will finish Unit 2 and take a quiz on the material. We will also start learning how to subtract double digits with regrouping.
Science
We will finish learning about states of matter.
