Week of January 18th

• I am very excited to see everyone in person this week. Please make sure all of the materials are packed for them to return, send winter clothes for recess, a healthy snack, and please return the ipad charged.

• Our primary focus this week is to get back into the routines, review expectations, and strengthen relationships.

• Our school fundraiser will start this week. I will be sending you information about the fundraiser during the next 2 weeks.

• After school plans -

If you child goes to safety zone, they will have a brightly colored piece of paper for you to put in your front window to help find students quicker.

If you child rides the bus, they will have a badge to show the bus driver. They will have assigned seats and will need to wear their mask on the bus (no food or drinks).

• These are the plans for the next few days...

Monday 1/11 and Tuesday 1/12 - Regular distance learning days

Wednesday 1/13 - No Early Release (due to prep time the next two days)

Thursday 1/14 - Prep Day (Non-instructional/ No Emergency Childcare)

Friday 1/15 - Prep Day (Non-instructional/ No Emergency Childcare)

Tuesday 1/19 - Return to in person learning!

• I will send out an email with the items your child needs to bring back to school early this week (Tuesday night or Wednesday). They will need to bring everything back safely on Tuesday morning.

• Things to consider - Students will need masks when they return. Use a heavy bag or backpack to carry their items. Have them wear their winter gear so they don't need to carry it. If your child has used or misplaced supplies like crayons, pencils, markers, or headphones, please replace those this week. Thanks!

• I will need to know the end of the day plans for our return, if they have stayed the same or changed. I will send out information for that early this week also.

I will keep you updated with return to school information this week. Thanks for your help!
