Announcements
• We will have a valentine exchange on Tuesday. Information has already been sent home (pink paper). If your child is participating, please send enough valentines for everyone. Students will have the opportunity to decorate bags during class.
• We will have guest readers from the high school this week.
• We will have future teachers from SCSU teach math groups on Thursday.
• It was good to see everyone at conferences Thursday night. The 2nd night of conferences will be Wednesday 2/15.
Language Arts
• Next week we will be writing friendly letters.
• In reading we will practice main idea, retelling a story, text structure, and author's purpose.
• We will focus on "or" words.
Math
• We will practice subtraction with money.
Social Studies
• We are beginning a geography unit.
