Language Arts
• We will finish the reports on Abe Lincoln and George Washington.
• We will be taking a variety of spelling assessments this week.
• Our reading skills will focus on summarizing, main topic/supporting evidence, nonfiction text structure, and author's purpose.
Math
• We are working on double digit subtraction and rounding to the nearest 10/100.
• The goal for both addition and subtraction time tests is 45-50 correct in 4 minutes. Students have time to practice facts during the week, but 5 minutes a night of practice has a big impact.
Social Skills
• We will be discussing personal space.
Science
• We will learn about types of severe weather and collect daily information on our weather.
