Announcements
• No school on Monday, January 16th.
• The class has been working on being respectful in our classroom and not talking when someone else is talking or during transition times. They did a great job this week!
Language Arts
• We will learn about inferences and literal/nonliteral language. Phonics will focus on ie and igh making the long i sound. In writing we will finish up reports on penguins.
• I think everyone is back in the school routine, so I will start sending home reading logs next Friday.
Math
• We will start Unit 4. The beginning of the unit focuses on money. After that, we will move to subtraction with regrouping.
Science
• We are going to learn about the weather next week.
