• Valentine information was sent home this week on a pink sheet.
• Please send back the reading log on Monday. The SRR high school leaders challenged our class to read at home more often, so we are tracking our time.
Language Arts
• We are starting a new unit with fables and folktales. This week we will focus on story structure, making connections, antonyms, and theme (lesson).
• We will write an information paragraph about sharks this week.
• Our spelling words are: broom, hoop, boots, moon, stool, cook, shook, look, book, football.
Math
• Students will learn about double digit subtraction with regrouping.
• We will take an addition time test this week.
Social Studies
• We will discuss manmade structures and landforms in geography.
