• Thank you for all of the Valentine treats and goodies!
• It sounds like the temperature should get warmer this week. Please make sure your child has all of their winter gear at school for our walk and recess.
• Our specialist this week is SEL (social emotional learning).
Language Arts
• This week we will focus on cause/effect, prefixes un- and re-, main idea/ details, and poetry.
• During this short week we will practice writing with more details (adjectives).
• Remember to read at least 20 minutes each night.
Math
• We are continuing to work on double digit subtraction with regrouping.
• Remember to practice addition and subtraction facts at home.
Social Studies
• We are working on geography skills.
Character Education
• We will be discussing grit this week with a few different picture books.
