Please send appropriate outside clothes for recess this week.
Our class earned a party for Friday. The class requested a movie, pajamas, blanket, and stuffed animal as their reward.
Language Arts
• In phonics we will be learning about the different sounds of y.
• We will write an opinion piece this week about their favorite season. We will also review synonyms, antonyms, and shades of meaning.
• During reading comprehension we will practice nonfiction text features, connecting ideas in a science text, and writing a summary for a nonfiction text.
• The reading log is due Friday.
Math
• We will be reviewing place value, math facts, and double digit addition with regrouping.
Science
• Our class is learning about seeds and plants. We will do some planting on Friday.
Character Education
• Students will be learning about having grit.
