Language Arts
• This week our focus skills will be the short u sound and graphic/text features.
• In writing we will work on adding more detail to sentences.
• The weekly reading log is due on Friday.
• Book checkout is on Thursday.
Math
• We will be finishing Unit 1 with more practice on word problems.
• Continue to practice addition facts at home.
Character Education and Social Studies
• We will finish our first social studies unit on citizenship this week. We will also learn and practice strategies to help with self-control.
