Announcements
• Thank you for your support with the fundraiser. It will end on Friday.
• Last week students learned how to write a SMART goal and chose an academic skill to work on from now until the end of the year.
• After many days of inside recess, some outside clothing seems to be missing. Please check with your child to make sure they still have a hat and mittens.
• Please send back the reading log on Monday. Many reading logs were returned last week. Thanks!
• Book checkout is on Wednesday.
Language Arts
• Our key concepts this week include summarizing, determine theme, author's purpose, and synonyms/antonyms.
• In writing we will be practicing writing sentences with adjectives to add details.
• Our spelling words are: saw, draw, crawl, claw, sauce, launch, author, pause, small, walk.
Math
• We will finish learning about shapes and also introduce line plots.
Social Studies
• We are finishing our geography unit.
