• This week our curriculum stories are focusing on habitats, "Saguaro Park Visit" and "Donny's Terrarium."
• Our reading skills for this week are: asking questions, point of view, and chronological order. In writing we will be focusing on different kinds of sentences and punctuation.
• The spelling words this week are 1 and 2 syllable words: go, we, den, no, she, napkin, dentist, problem, open, silent
• We will be starting a weekly reading log on Monday. The goal is to read 10 or more minutes every night. This can include independent reading and reading with a parent. The reading log is due the following Monday (10/11).
Math
• This week we will focus on adding/subtracting and unknown addends (4 + x = 10).
• Please continue to practice addition facts at home.
